On Sunday, we played in the County fours at Waddesdon, and we did St Martins proud. Our 1st opponents were a very elite Wolverton town team who we beat in a well managed and constructive manner, all playing as a team. Our next opponents were Gerrards Cross, who had 2 if not 3 teams going through to the second round. Three of their 4 players we national triple champions and their skip is being viewed by the England selectors. They beat us. We all agreed it was great to play at this level and asking ourselves, are we a template for a St Martins elite team 🤣
