Friendly against Woburn Sands - 25-04-26

We were fortunate to enjoy glorious sunshine today as we took part in a friendly match against Woburn Sands.

The game was played in a wonderful spirit, with both sides contributing to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout.

BSM came out on top with an overall score of 106–61, winning four of the six rinks. Despite this, Woburn Sands certainly held their own and even managed to take home more prizes on the day!

After the match, we were treated to a delicious buffet, along with a fantastic cake kindly baked by Chris Pollard, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

A big thank you goes to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Special thanks to Linda and Ron behind the bar, and to Lisa, Leslie, and Chris in the kitchen for their hard work and hospitality.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to Lin Burdett, our Friendly Captain, for representing us so well today.

All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, filled with great company, good competition, and plenty of smiles.
