Ladies County Fours

A ladies team from Bletchley St Martins beat a Stony Stratford team a few weeks ago in the preliminary round of the ladies fours to go through to the first round of the county ladies fours competition on Saturday morning at Aylesbury Town.

After being down in the first half of the game to Iver Heath, Leanna, Caroline, Joan and Alison came back from 11:4 to win 16:12.

They then travelled to Waddesdon in the afternoon for the quarter finals where they were drawn against an Aylesbury Town team.

After a close game where either team could have won, the Aylesbury ladies picked up a few more points in the last ends to win 22:19.
