The green at Bletchley St Martins Bowls Club was alive with competitive spirit and community camaraderie for the highly anticipated annual staging of The Defibrillator Cup (fondly known to everyone as the 'Defib Cup'). This year’s contest saw an exciting showdown between Bletchley St Martins Bowls Club and the Bletchley St Martins Masonic Lodge.

Played under a beautifully bright and warm sun, five triples teams from each side battled it out in excellent conditions. Spectators and players alike were treated to some exceptionally high-quality bowling from both clubs.

As has become tradition for this fantastic fixture, the afternoon was filled with plenty of good-natured banter and friendly rivalry, proving once again why this event is a highlight of the club calendar.

Following the action on the green, everyone gathered together to enjoy a fantastic meal and a lively raffle, rounding off a perfect day of sport and socializing.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of those who attended and took part, the day successfully raised approximately £400.00, with all proceeds going directly toward the club's new Lawnmower fund.

By all accounts, this year’s tournament was widely considered the best one yet.

A massive thank you must go to Derek Storey for all of his hard work, dedication, and effort behind the scenes in organizing the event and making the entire match a resounding success.
