Club Rinks Championships

What a brilliant and enthusiastic turnout for the Club Rinks Championships (league stage) on Sunday, the matches were played out in as friendly a fashion as you would expect in a competition.

Two teams reigned supreme and will now meet each other in the Finals, the teams are:

Team 1 = Linda Burdett (Captain), Ron Smith, Yvonne Fox and Les Charville, after winning all three matches.

Team 2 = Steve Smith (Captain), Sharon Prime, Kathryn Emerson and Graham Durcan, after winning two and drawing one match.

Two unbeaten teams so far in the rounds facing each other for what promises to be an exciting final.

Well done to the two teams and a Huge Thank you to Henk who yet again pulled out all the stops to keep things going with another excellent BBQ, really appreciated.

A big thankyou to everyone who helped out and either sent a message or thanked us on the day for organising the event, that was very much appreciated after what was our first attempt with a minor comms issue at the beginning, another learning curve.
