President's Address - 07-02-24

PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS

Firstly, I would like to wish all our members all the best for the coming season.

Hopefully the weather will be better than last year and we will have similar or even better success on the green.

Secondly, as the presidents roll is non-executive I don’t have many duties to perform. However, one duty is to choose the charity the club will support for the coming season.

I was asked by a committee member if this year we could support PROSTATE CANCER. Well, due to the amount of our members who have either had prostate cancer or are suffering from it, I agreed.

I have contacted the Prostate Cancer charity, there is a collection box behind the bar, and I have posters and other bits that I will bring up to be displayed in support of the charity.
