President's Day - 19-7-25

President’s Day was held on the 19^th July @ 2pm.

We had a triples match between a President’s team and a Captain’s team.

Despite the weather forecast the afternoon was fine, the rain stopping just as we started the spider which was won by Geoff Worsfold.

The resulting game ended with a win for the president by 77 –62, thanks mainly to Chris Pollard’s triple who won 31-7.

Everybody enjoyed the afternoon, raising £251 for Prostate Cancer UK.

So a big thank you, to all who took part not forgetting Yvonne Fox & Sharon Prime for the bar and  Lesley Stewart and Carol Higton for setting out the food and running the raffle, where all prizes were donated by the President and club members.
