Charity Fun Day – 17th August
We were treated to beautiful weather and a fantastic turnout for our Charity Fun Day held on the 17th of August at the club. It was great to see so many families come along to support our chosen charity, Prostate Cancer UK.
The format for the day was 3x6 ends of triples, with players keeping an individual score across the three games.
Congratulations to Jim McKenna, who emerged as the winner with an impressive +16 points!
Off the green, there was plenty to enjoy, with burgers and sausages on offer—generously consumed by attendees! All profits from food sales, along with donations, contributed to the total of £269.00 raised for Prostate Cancer UK.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported the cause so generously.
