Hi All As advised at the AGM in March, please remind all your teams that their skips MUST send a photo of their first-round rink cards either by WhatsApp or email to the relevant competition secretaries (indoor or outdoor). This is to ensure the rules regarding competitors playing in only ONE open, ONE mixed, and ONE same-gender competition are enforced. We were fortunate to enjoy glorious sunshine today as we took part in a friendly match against Woburn Sands. The game was played in a wonderful spirit, with both sides contributing to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout. We played our first match of the 2026 season against Linslade on 19th April. The competition was conducted in an extremely friendly and sporting atmosphere, setting a positive tone for the year ahead. Although Linslade emerged as the overall winners, BSM put in a strong performance, securing victory in two of the five games played. The matches were closely contested and enjoyed by all involved. President’s Address Well the new season is about 3 weeks away, and the green is looking good. Lots of work put in by Turfcare and time spent by both Paul & Jim over the winter. The charity this season will be Willen Hospice, I was looking for a local charity to support and Willen was the only one to come to mind. Saturday 14th March – The Soulman Returns Saturday saw the welcome return of the “Soulman” to St Martins, and what a fantastic evening it was. The club was well attended by our members, creating a great atmosphere from start to finish. It was wonderful to see so many of you enjoying the music, dancing, and spending time together while supporting your club.
